Woman Wanted In Fairfield County Accused Of Stealing $390 In Items At Boscovs On Post Road

A wanted Fairfield County woman who lives on Justice Street in Stratford saw justice served in Connecticut when she was taken into police custody for allegedly shoplifting hundreds of dollars of merchandise from a local department store.

Investigators from the Milford Police Department took custody of Amanda Fleming, 27, who had an active warrant out for her arrest in Connecticut for shoplifting.

According to police, Fleming and another woman stole approximately $390 worth of merchandise from Boscov’s on Boston Post Road in November last year.

Fleming was arrested and charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. She was released following her processing at the Milford Police Department and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 19 to respond to the charges.
